Kate’s latest novel, Life After Life, has been shortlisted for the Women’s Prize for Fiction.
The full shortlist is as follows:

- Barbara Kingsolver: Flight Behaviour
- Hilary Mantel: Bring Up the Bodies
- Maria Semple: Where’d You Go, Bernadette
- Zadie Smith: NW
